In Memory of Steve Dawkins
The Chrysanthemum Garden was originally installed in 2015 under the direction of former board member and celebrated chrysanthemum grower, Steve Dawkins. His expertise guided our team through cultivation and design, but unfortunately, he passed away two years later. In recognition of his contributions, The Gardens at Heather Farm rededicated the area celebrating his favorite flower in his memory. Now, this garden is thoughtfully maintained by our Garden Manager and volunteers so that each autumn, visitors can enjoy the chrysanthemum’s powerful pop of seasonal color.
