Join us at The Gardens for a fun enrichment experience called \"Nature Explorers.\" Designed and led by our savvy and creative Youth Education team, the program features crafts, games and educational activities in both classroom and outdoor settings. Learn from bird experts on a variety of topics including sketching, journaling, pond ecology, conservation, and bird rehabilitation. Each class will be hosted and led by The Gardens’ lead Natural Science Teacher and bird enthusiast, Noelle Pipa, along with guest instructors.

Summer Nature Detectives: July 11-August 15

SUMMER NATURE DETECTIVES Grades 1-3, Wednesdays, 7/11-8/15, 10-11:30 a.m.

In our new, six-week summer program for elementary grades, students will learn how to become Nature Detectives! Explore everything in and around our garden, from plants to animals to composting and more! This year, we’re bringing our Natural Science Classroom into summer, with classes normally taught only during the school year modified to fit a fun, summery vibe. Led by our team of awesome Natural Science Teachers, Summer Nature Detectives is open to first through third grade students and follows a similar format as our popular Nature Explorers preschool program, offering one 90-minute class per week. However, Summer Nature Detectives is available as a drop-off program for older children, so parent participation is NOT required as it is for the preschool program.
