Our third annual Latin-inspired spring garden party landed right on Cinco de Mayo, making for the perfect celebration of the popular Mexican holiday. A robust “south-of-the-border”-themed menu, authentic Mariachi music, and tequila tasting made this one of our best parties to date. Fiesta Cinco de Mayo 2019 provided crucial financial support for our nonprofit organization.
There’s no better way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo than being outdoors in a beautiful garden setting enjoying tasty food, drinks and live music, and our Fiesta Cinco de Mayo 2019 surely delivered! The event feature live musical performances by the amazing MARIACHI MI MEXICO and an array of tasty, Mexican-inspired foods prepared by ELISA’S CATERING, including tacos, mini empanadas and chimichangas, guacamole, salsa and the #1 favorite food item of the day: warm, fresh Mexican doughnuts. However, based on the crowd hovering around the table all everning, it was clear everybody’s favorite event activity was the tequila tasting. Craft beer was donated from LOST COAST BREWERY, frozen margaritas mixings by CULINARY EXCELLENCE, tequila by WINE MEATS CHEESE, linens by CHAIRS FOR AFFAIRS, and wooden Chiavari chairs by JOE SQUARED PRODUCTIONS. One of our organization’s largest fundraisers of the year, Fiesta Cinco de Mayo 2019 generated thousands of dollars to support our free public garden and nature education programs.
