Our second annual Latin-inspired spring garden party happened on a beautiful afternoon in early May 2018. Celebrating the spirit of Latin American countries like Cuba, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Peru, Fiesta Nueva 2018 raised much needed funds for our nonprofit organization.
Guests enjoyed a selection of appetizers including ceviche, tostones, chimichurri skewers, Cuban sliders, plus pineapple margaritas and more from catering sponsor, A LOVEABLE FEAST. The salsa vibe was flowing all afternoon thanks to the musical group, VISSION LATINA, and a team of festively-costumed salsa dancers. Craft beer was donated from LOST COAST BREWERY, wine from OAK RIDGE WINERY, gorgeous floral by SARAH’S GARDEN DESIGN, and party rentals by CHAIRS FOR AFFAIRS. One of our organization’s largest fundraisers of the year, Fiesta Nueva 2018 generated thousands of dollars to support our free public garden and nature education programs.
