Nestled on a hillside in picturesque Walnut Creek, The Gardens at Heather Farm is a nonprofit public garden, education center and venue for special events. With six acres of lush gardens and a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces, our serene and stylish locale is an ideal place to host a wedding, party, meeting, seminar or other special occasion.

Weddings

One wedding, one venue. Share your special day with friends and family in the fresh air, out among nature. Have your outdoor ceremony in our lush garden at the classic Gazebo or the expansive Meadow Lawn. Cocktail time is the perfect time to hang at our outdoor Patio & Pavilion with drinks and appetizers in hand. An elegant and fun reception awaits you and your guests, as you dine and dance the night away in the spacious Camellia Room.

Private Parties

Whether celebrating a birthday milestone, baptism, graduation or retirement party, your event at The Gardens will be joyful and festive. Guests love the Camellia Room with wrap-around deck perfect for casual conversation while taking in beautiful garden views. And the Gazebo and Meadow Lawn are prime spots to host a garden party or baby shower. We’ve got a caterer’s warming kitchen on site, and we provide tables, chairs and set-up for your event (some restrictions apply). All you need are decorations, food and cake, and you’re all set.

Business Events

When hosting a meeting, you want a place that’s quiet, comfortable and accommodating. The Gardens at Heather Farm offers large and small indoor meeting spaces perfect for training workshops, brainstorming sessions and board retreats. We offer furniture set-up, free wifi, limited A/V equipment and ample scenery to inspire great ideas.

Memorials/Celebrations of Life

Honor your loved one in a peaceful setting with a gathering inspired by the beauty of nature. Our light-filled banquet hall, with ample views of trees and sky is perfect for sharing memories while enjoying refreshments. Our caring and professional staff will help you craft your thoughtful tribute.

Services & Amenities

Our experience team of event professionals will work directly with you throughout the planning process to ensure a successful event. We can arrange customized packages and floor plans, as well as assist in sourcing vendors. On your event day, your rental spaces will be set up according to plan before you arrive, and a member of our staff will be on hand to assist you throughout your event.
