About The Gardens
Established in 1972 as a non-profit volunteer organization, The Gardens serves as a sanctuary in the heart of Walnut Creek, CA. With over 6.5 acres of lush gardens and the renowned Cowden Rose Garden, The Gardens remains dedicated to remaining free and open to the public 7 days a week. After 50 years of business, The Gardens continues to focus on education, horticulture, and weddings while honoring the nonprofit mission. We look forward to continuing to see our loyal patrons and volunteers as well as welcoming new visitors.
