Science Explorers Homeschool Programs at The Gardens at Heather Farm
Registration is now open for our fall programs. Each month we host 2 classes on Tuesdays. Each class is 1 hour long. TK-3rd grade students are from 10-11am and 4th-8th grade students are from 11am-12pm.
Cost is $30 per month or $40 per month if you use a voucher (please see voucher information below)

November: Minerals and Rocks
TK-3rd: 10-11am, 4th-8th: 11am-12pm
Tuesday November 4: Minerals
Tuesday November 18: Rock Cycle and 3 types of rocks
Registration closes Friday October 31
December: greenhouse and shade house tour
TK-3rd: 10-11am, 4th-8th: 11am-12pm
Tuesday December 2: Greenhouse tour. Learn about how we prepare seeds for growth and what special equipment we need to have to make sure our plants grow successfully all year long.
Tuesday December 16: Shade house tour. Learn when we move plants into our shade house and what maintenance we need to keep the plants flourishing until they are either bought or put into our garden.

Tuesday January 13: How is electricity created and how do circuits work
Tuesday January 20: Electromagnetism
*Both of these classes will be indoors*

Please read through all this information BEFORE booking a class:
- Choose the month for your student(s)
- Enter the number of students that will be participating in the program for each time slot (you can register multiple students all at one time)
- When you get to the “create booking” page, you can add additional months or additional grade levels to your cart by clicking on the +Add to Booking button in the top left corner
- Once you have registered for all your programs, fill out our registration information and make sure to include the name and grade level of all students who will be participating.
- You will then be prompted for payment. If you are going to use a voucher, please see information below. Please contact us with any questions or if you have trouble registering.
Refund Policy:
Program fees are non-refundable for any absences or missed programs. A full refund will only be issued for any classes canceled by The Gardens at Heather Farm.
Vouchers:
We currently accept vouchers from Pacific Charter and Visions. You MUST still register in our system, even if you are using a voucher. When registering, please use the following voucher codes to make the class cost become 0. You must add the code to every program you register for. Once you add the code, complete the registration as normal. We do charge a $10 processing fee to use vouchers. Vouchers should be for $40 each student.
