Throughout the year, we host a variety of special fundraising events to encourage community involvement and support for our programs. Gather for fun times with family and friends to support The Gardens!


Plant Sales raise much needed revenue for our garden and are held on a Saturday morning every April and September. Specimens are hand-propagated by our Garden Manager and his team, and over 200 different plant varieties are laid out for sale in our parking lot. It’s a great time to investigate new options for your home garden, get advice from our staff and volunteers, and enjoy a morning out at The Gardens. Members receive a 10% discount on purchases.

NOTE DURING COVID-19: Plant sales are currently being held year-round but ONLINE ONLY.



Teddy Bear Tea has been an annual holiday tradition for families at The Gardens for over two decades. On the first weekend of December, our venue is transformed into a winter holiday extravaganza with fancy tea service, seasonal decorations, tea-time sweets and savories, storytelling, crafts and teddy bears galore. It’s the perfect family outing to kick off the holiday season and it sells out every year!

NOTE DURING COVID: Teddy Bear Tea 2020 was a “take-home” event which sold out in a matter of weeks. Thanks to all who participated, and we look forward to resuming the in-person event in December 2021.

Gala Fundraisers have been a tradition at The Gardens for many years and have come in variety of forms and themes, including WINE & ROSES, FIESTA DE JARDIN, FIESTA NUEVA, and FIESTA CINCO DE MAYO. Featuring food, beverages and entertainment, such fundraising events allow us to showcase our impressive garden spaces at the most beautiful time of year and help involve the entire community in what goes on here. Most importantly, sponsorship, ticket sales and raffles for these events make up a large amount of our annual funding needed to support the organization.
